The Docusign Visual Studio Extension was introduced back in February 2020. The popularity of the Microsoft developer tools was a major reason we decided to create built-in tools inside both VS and VS Code to enable developers to quickly and easily create projects that utilize the Docusign APIs.

Today, I’m happy to announce that we have an additional version of the Visual Studio Extension that supports VS 2022.

Both versions work exactly the same. Both versions enable developers to create new C# projects (we support four types of projects - ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Framework, Console App core, and Console App Framework). Both versions also include features that enable developers to take existing C# projects and add Docusign functionality to them.

The VS (and VS Code) extensions currently support four APIs:

Also note that while the Docusign VS extension only support C# projects, our VS Code extension supports Java, Node.js, PHP, Python, and Ruby
